Terms of Service
By using MyWay Pantry you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
MyWay Pantry helps you track food in your pantry, predict expiration dates, suggest meals, and build grocery lists using AI-powered image recognition and recipe generation.
2. Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use MyWay Pantry. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Subscriptions (Pro)
- Pro is offered as Monthly or Yearly auto-renewing subscriptions.
- iOS subscriptions are billed by Apple via In-App Purchase. Web subscriptions are billed by Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Manage or cancel from your device's subscription settings (iOS) or via the in-app billing portal (web).
- Refunds are handled by Apple (for iOS purchases) or by us (for web purchases — email us).
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the app's operation.
- Upload content you don't have the right to share.
- Abuse the AI features (e.g., automated scraping, denial-of-service).
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
MyWay Pantry uses AI to estimate expiration dates, generate recipes, and suggest meals. These are estimates, not professional dietary or food-safety advice. Always use your own judgment — when in doubt, throw it out. We are not responsible for dietary, health, or food-safety outcomes.
6. Intellectual Property
MyWay Pantry and all related branding are our property. You retain ownership of the data you upload (photos, item lists). You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the service.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
MyWay Pantry is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
